One of the cleanest race's in a long time - a fast flowing, high speed Mini F1!
Pete R showed his old form by setting the fastest qualifing lap - 0:50.50. Beating his own personal best by 16 hundreds of a second. He used his pole position to get away clean from the pack in the main event, maintaining a gap, and using the clear track to hold onto his pole position to the end of the race.
Peter H and Chris B had a great battle for second, swapping position, nipping at each others heels. Chris taking a small loss of position following a stop-go penality, temporarily dropped back down to 4th, but managed to regain his finishing 3rd position on the very last lap.
Six drivers all managed a sub 51 second lap, with Peter H blasting away the old track record, putting in a scorching 0:50.36. Four of the drivers beat the old track record.
