June Showers!
Dark, dank, dingy and dismal..Welcome to the summer season Open Races! Track conditions ranged from greasy at best, to wet at the end. Needless to say, no new track records were set this month.
The challenging conditions made for an entertaining race, both for the drivers and spectators. Clean driving did prevail though. Except maybe driver 11 - Dobby, would argue after been shunted off onto the grass.
Both Hawkins brothers did well, Nick managing to get 2nd on the grid for qualifying. Peter repeated his recent good form - gaining top podium honors again.
Fastest driver by 100th of a second was Adam P, just beating Peter.
A big hello, to all the Exeter lads. Including Steve, who managed a 2nd place, and Warren who brought it home in 4th place. Although can we ask that you leave the weather at your end next race!
