Febuary Open biggest yet in 2007!
Febuarys Open race turned out to be the first Grand Prix of the year. Due to high driver turnout the Grand Prix was held in place of the more regular mini F1's.
All the normal faces were there, plus a few newbies to add to the mix. The driving was all fairly clean, although Driver 15 - Mark B did manage to loose almost every point earned via penalitys!
Both finals managed to loose one driver though breaking their karts! Ben R in the B final when he snapped his track rod on the hairpin, and nick in the main final, who had an incident (read crash,lol) in the middle chicane, which resulted in his axle looking more like a banana.
Top three places all went to regulars Chris B in 3rd, Karl in 2nd, and surprise surprise Al in 1st. Al and Karl both managed to go sub minute laps in the final. Been the only drivers on the day to do so.
Rumore has it, Pete R might be coming out of retirment to put AL in his place! - Watch this space.
